His career includes senior roles with national developers Lendlease and Devine, leadership of the $750 million Blakes Crossing master planned community, strategic delivery roles within Renewal SA’s Port Adelaide Renewal program, and the management of major civil and infrastructure projects across the state.
Urbex General Manger Carl Bruhn, said Jamieson’s appointment reflects the company’s long-term commitment to South Australia and confidence in the state’s residential development market.
“Appointing Troy, with his deep local experience and long‑standing relationships, ensures our South Australian projects are led by someone who understands the state’s market dynamics, regulatory environment and community expectations,” Mr Bruhn said.
“South Australia is central to Urbex. It’s where the business was established 23 years ago and it continues to be a priority market as we expand our development pipeline. Our recent investment, including the Sellicks Beach acquisition, reflects our confidence in the state’s continued growth and our ambition to deliver diverse, high‑quality communities.”
As the property development company of the BMD Group, Urbex benefits from an integrated delivery model that supports seamless project execution nationwide, underpinned by BMD’s long‑established presence in South Australia.
Over more than 18 years of operations in the state, the Group has delivered more than 2,700 residential lots across over 40 projects, including Mount Barker, Angle Vale, Aldinga and Riverlea. This capability is complemented by major infrastructure works including supporting the Boeing Deep Maintenance Facility at Edinburgh and ongoing delivery as part of SA Water’s Pipeline Partner Program.
With a permanent South Australian workforce of around 130 employees and an established network of local subcontractors and suppliers, Urbex’s strengthened leadership team will support continued growth and the ability to scale delivery while maintaining quality or program outcomes.
