The young Townsville based family ended 2022 on a high after purchasing, building, and moving into their first home with a new born all within five months from the contract date.

The pair were stunned to see their new build come to life so quickly and within budget, after renting for years and setting themselves up for an extended wait time for build completion for their growing family.

“We have been renting for the last few years and with a baby on the way, we knew the time was right to upsize. Building a home was always our dream, but we never expected the turnaround would be so quick,” Matthew said.

“We managed to lay the slab and within five months, our house was built. Whilst we did see delays in materials at the start of 2022, our builder, DJ Jones made magic happen and we moved in two days before our baby was born.”
