Why more people are calling Kalynda Chase Home
The master planned community created by Urbex and the Lancini Group has seen 1077 lots sold in the past decade, with just 170 lots left for savvy buyers to snap up.
Urbex Development Manager David Argent said the Kalynda Chase community continues to flourish because it meets and exceeds the needs of its residents.
“The nice thing is that Kalynda Chase is a destination unto itself with wide open spaces plus fantastic amenities and leisure facilities within arm’s reach.
“It’s extremely easy to access yet it manages to retain its sense of independence and privacy,” he said.
Katie Roy and Nate Wicks settled on their land at Kalynda chase only two weeks ago and said it was the amenities and sense of community that drew them to the area.
“My partner works at the hospital so it was close to his work and I work in Townsville City, which is ten minutes away, so the location is super convenient,” Katie said.
“We found that the house and land packages were amazingly competitive compared to what’s out there for the size of block – we got such a good deal.
“Nate and I are looking forward to taking advantage of the local eateries and getting involved at the amazing Tennis Centre.”
One of the major draw cards that attracts many people to Kalynda Chase is its state-of-the-art Tennis Centre. Tim Robinson runs the facility and says it’s renowned, not just as one of the best facilities in Townsville, but all of Australia.
“The Tennis Centre was built to service the local community and to also potentially attract major tennis events like the Davis Cup.” Mr Robinson said.
“I’ve been running tennis centres for about twenty years and I believe it’s one of the best centres in Australia.
“We’ve got plenty of courts, great changing rooms, easy parking and access, a canteen and even a licensed bar which has just opened.
“We’re in the process of resurfacing all the courts which is amazing considering the facility is only four or five years old.”
Whilst the Tennis Centre is open to the general public, special deals are offered to residents of Kalynda Chase.
