Urbex donates shade sail to Capestone residents
The park has now become a shady haven, with the install of a shade sail donated by Urbex. Coming into the warmer summer months this will provide much needed sun protection to the already very popular playground.
The shade sail comes after residents requested for a shaded area to be built over the play equipment.
Urbex’s project director, Todd Zuideveld and Councillor Julie Greer worked tirelessly to make the shade sail a reality for over a year.
Todd Zuideveld says the installation of the shade sail provides Capestone residents with a relaxed space where family and friends can connect.
“We wanted to create a space where family and friends could enjoy during the warmer months. The installation of this shade sail allows people to enjoy the outdoors and come together,” Mr Zuidveveld said.
“It is really important to us and our residents that we can offer them an active lifestyle, and we at Urbex work tirelessly to ensure our residents happy with every aspect of the development,” Mr Zuidveveld said.
Urbex and JMac Constructions worked collaboratively, with Wayne Thompson, JMac Construction Manager who played an integral part in facilitating the design and installation of the shade sail.
“It is great to see residents happy with the installation of the shade sail. It was a pleasure to work on something that really gives back the community,” Mr Thompson said.
Urbex is proud to collaborate with the Moreton Bay Regional Council, and continues to deliver outstanding amenities and facilities for the Capestone community.
With contemporary designer homes surrounded by wide streetscapes, spacious shaded landscapes, cooling bay breezes, a future central lake, new train station and a vibrant town and business centre, Capestone promises to offer residents and active and healthy lifestyle.
